Would you like to know more about our Public Relations Department?
What do we do?
The Public Relations Department is responsible for the maintenance and management of all public AStA communication channels (i.e. Website, Facebook, Instagram), including the social media moderation and the forwarding of external queries to the correct departments. The Public Relations Department supports other departments with graphic designs, press releases, advertisements and the final publishing of information.
We are committed to maintaining a well functioning communication between students and AStA and to bring more “colour” into students’ lives through innovative and interactive posts in our social media.
Ancilla Domini Giannina Surya
My name is Ancilla Domini Giannina Surya from Surabaya, Indonesia. You can just call me Nina for short. I’m 21 years old and studying Gender and Diversity in my fifth semester. I’m currently working as the PR Head of Campus Kamp-Lintfort.
Since junior high school, I’ve been actively involved in various student organizations. Last year, I had the chance to work as the PR Head of Campus Kleve. This year, I’m also a part of the FSR Society and Economics as Treasurer and Social Media Team.
Outside my university life, I’m a trained dancer, classical ballet and hip hop, particularly. You probably have seen me performing in the university a couple of times. Besides that, I enjoy reading mystery/thriller novels, traveling, playing keyboard, baking, and watching movies/TV shows. I’m also into geeky stuff!
My name is Huzaifa Ejaz. I’m 24 years old and from Pakistan. I’m currently doing my Masters in Bionics at campus Kleve (5th Semester) and I have been working as the PR Head of AStA (Kleve) since the beginning of 2020.
I got into content creation since I started high school and from there I’ve worked with several organizations at my old university designing content for digital media and managing the social media pages. I’m also a member and the Public Relations representative of the Pakistani Student Association (Hochschule Rhein-Waal). I’m a self-learned designer and I take this as a hobby rather than a professional career.
As a hobbyist, I like taking photographs of architecture and portraits of people. Street photography is what I enjoy the most. Also as a side hustle, I ride several kilometers on my bicycle (sometimes even to Nijmegen) and really enjoy doing that. I’m also an avid movie/TV show geek so holler at me if you’re looking for something good to watch!
